Artist statement: The Siam herbal medicine scriptures of His Royal Highness Krom Luang Wongsa Dhiraj Snidh are invaluable, and only Vol. I has been repeatedly printed and widely used till the present time in the manner of an ordinary western style book. In the year 2006, Vol. II of the same title was discovered in the national archives. And, as a Thai artist, it might be my responsibility to create a set of these scriptures in the manner of the original Siamese traditional folding book by using a contemporary printing process.
